Chauffeurs, Wit and Limo Cars in Sydney

Many of us have experienced it.

You may know the feeling yourself. You are in a taxi or sometimes a limousine and the chauffeur seemingly regards themselves as a natural wit and raconteur. Cue an apparently never-ending stream of anecdotes, banter, jokes and non-stop conversation.

It may be that you welcome that. Perhaps you are feeling in the mood for a little light diversion and are a natural and enthusiastic communicator who likes human engagement.

However, even if you are, there may be times when you simply don’t appreciate it. Perhaps you are trying to do some reading as you travel or some work on your tablet etc. In other words, you may simply not have the time to focus on someone else’s conversation.

Alternatively, perhaps you are someone who doesn’t easily engage in chit-chat with others or you have simply been working too hard and are feeling a bit jaded.

In either of the above situations, what you may simply want is privacy with peace and quiet - not a series of hilarious guffaws.

So, what is Bayside Limousines’ policy in terms of our chauffeurs driving limo cars in Sydney

You can be absolutely sure that all of our chauffeurs will be extremely polite, courteous and respectful. What you will never experience with us is surliness or a lack of interest. Nor will you ever see members of our team ‘horsing around’ or treating your requirements as being anything other than serious. In other words, our chauffeurs are all top-class professionals.

If you have requested tour-based services from us, then your driver or chauffeur will obviously be only too pleased to use their extensive knowledge of Sydney and its environs to help you appreciate some of the landmarks you might be passing.

However, if you are arranging a point-to-point transport, our chauffeurs will always be friendly but have total respect to your privacy. They will never try and force conversation on you.

Of course, if you do wish to pass the time with some conversation, they’ll be only too happy to oblige. In other words, we follow our customers lead!

A Sydney Limousine Service and Punctuality

We conduct our business affairs to the highest professional standards but there are some things that not even we can control.

One of the great truths about any Sydney limousine service is that problems can arise en-route that might mean delays in transit to your final destination.

Perhaps the most obvious example is an unpredictable traffic jam following on from something such as a traffic accident.  At Bayside Limousines we monitor traffic conditions in and around the city on an hourly basis and we plan our routes to avoid things such as known road works etc.

However, some things cannot be predicted in advance and therefore cannot be bypassed.  As you might expect, our drivers are experts in the city and its roads – they’ll always try to get around any hold-ups but in some situations it might just not be possible.

So, what can be done?
Ultimately, nobody can guarantee that any journey will be free of such unpredictable problems but what can be done is to make sure that there is some slack built into journey times for the unexpected.  Your chauffeur or our office may recommend collection times that occasionally might seem a little too early but they are based upon many years’ experience of road traffic conditions in Sydney at certain times of the day.

What that means is that if, for example, you are heading to the Airport, it might make sense to build in a little extra leeway at peak times - just in case unexpected problems are encountered on the road.

If you’re wondering, we build in such an allowance when we are en-route to the agreed collection point and collection time to pick you up.  That’s why we are able to guarantee that we will never be late.

So, rather than planning your itinerary on a knife-edge of tight timings, if possible, include a little slack to try and cope with things you couldn’t possibly have anticipated.

How much is required?
Why not simply tell us where you need to be and the time you need to be there and then take our advice?  We’ll build an appropriate contingency into the plans we give you.
