Luxury Limousines and Parking – FAQs

Here are the answers to some of the FAQs we see on this subject.

Can you wait outside for me if I have only a brief meeting?

Yes.  We are entirely at your disposal for the period of your hire.
However, there is one caveat – that relates to parking restrictions.

We must, of course, obey the law and local regulations. Typically, pulling up for a few seconds to drop off or collect is not going to be an issue with the authorities. It might not though be possible for us to park there longer term.

In such cases, we will usually provide you with a number to call to say that you’re ready to go and your limousine will arrive a few minutes later to collect you.
Is there anywhere you can’t deliver us to?
It’s exceptionally unlikely but it could happen in very unusual cases.

For example, in some cities there are sites called “Red Zones” (or variations thereof) where stopping, even for a few seconds, is strictly prohibited – usually for security reasons. Read more https://www.baysidelimousines.com.au/luxury-limousines-and-parking-faqs/

A Quick Reminder on Wedding Limo Hire Insurance

This is a subject we’ve blogged on before but we’re not going to apologise for issuing a quick reminder.

It’s a subject dear to our hearts because we’re a professional limousine hire company and want to protect the reputation and service quality of our entire industry.

The subject matter is – official wedding limousine hire insurance.

The problem

Let’s be clear – there is nothing wrong with a friend or family member giving you a lift to your wedding service in their car. If the car concerned is a prestige vehicle and immaculately groomed then so much the better. It might be a cost-effective and very happy experience for you.

However, it might not be.

In such circumstances, you and any other passengers would probably be covered by the driver’s appropriate insurance but ONLY if this was being done for you as a personal favour and no money (or the equivalent) was changing hands. The moment the person offering the vehicle asked for or accepted payment, then your lift would become a commercial transaction.

Luggage and Bayside Limousines – FAQs

Here is another in our periodic ‘FAQ’ blogs – this one covering luggage.

“How much luggage can I bring with me?”

We have only two restrictions:
  • in some exceptionally very rare situations, we may have to decline luggage which is, in our opinion, dangerous or a potential significant risk to our vehicle or chauffeur. Such examples might include hazardous material (e.g. chemicals) or certain types of caged animal etc.;
  • that your luggage doesn’t exceed the physical carrying capacity of our vehicle in either cubic capacity or weight terms.
In practice, given advance notice, we should be able to transport just about anything you wish.
“Can you help with my luggage at airport collections?”
